Chyna Pei

Chyna is a recent Kansas State University graduate in wildlife biology and is currently a research technician for PhD student Shelly Wiggam and her research on pollinators. During the summer field season, Chyna assists in pollinator collections, vegetation sampling, and bee telemetry! In the laboratory, she works to pin and identify each of the many collected bee specimens to species. Working with bees has opened Chyna’s eyes to the incredible amount of pollinator diversity we have here in the Great Plains region. After gaining more research-related work experience, she plans on continuing her education.
