
Wendy A. Johnson, Ph.D., holds a B.S. in horticulture science from Montana State University (2005), an M.S. in plant pathology from Montana State University (2007), and a Ph.D. in entomology from Kansas State University (2011). Johnson is currently a research associate and myFields Program Coordinator in the Field Crop Entomology Lab, Department of Entomology, Kansas State University, Manhattan KS (2011- present). Previous job experience includes graduate research assistant, Department of Entomology, Kansas State University (2008-2011), and graduate teaching assistant at the Department of Plant Sciences and Plant Pathology, Montana State University (2005-2007). Johnson’s interests include applied research in field crop biocontrol services and plant-insect interactions, as well as integrated pest management programs that incorporate wireless information delivery and increased use of social media platforms to enhance interactions with stakeholders (myFields.info).
